We have come a long way from finding the land in 2017 until now having prepared everything. Lots of steps have been taken and hard work has been done to move forward. In June 2020 we handed in all necessary paperwork for zone changing. The land is currently an agriculture zone. We want to change it to an estate with a social destination.

The community sent the application to all their different departments of civil servants and we got some requests to add information and or answer questions.

Everything is ready including the final drawings from the architects: All ground research, ecologist reports, archaeology research have been done, all sustainable options investigated, and all calculations done by the construction engineers. We even hung up the required new bat houses for the bats who would return to the shed in April.

The next action we wait for is for the community to publicize our zone-changing application. They are behind schedule due to the Covid situation.

The old shed is demolished now just before the bats will come back. Now the empty land symbolizes a hopeful new beginning.

Fundraising

Currently we have an enthusiastic team working on the project for building and an accomplished team for fundraising. Materials have been created, such as flyers and videos in different languages, a portfolio for major donors and beautiful cards to put on your desk showing the building. And, of course, a website has been developed and translated into many languages.

Liaisons have been recruited in different countries to help find donors, create events, translate, and help with social media or in any other way possible to move forward.

In 2020 we have raised about € 200.000. We thank the Dutch movement Stichting MVI for donating the purchase of the old farmhouse. We thank Raam Raj Foundation for their grants, and we thank all donors, for contributing large and small amounts to the realization of the first Maharishi Vastu home for Mother Divine in Europe from the beginning. We are eternally grateful.

Recently there has been developed a new angle in raising funds: organizing webinars online with benefits for the participants. We will do that the 3rd Saturday of every month, with various speakers, interesting topics, truly deep and beautiful knowledge to attract attention to the EU Vastu project. We aim to offer bonuses to donors by giving access to, for example, the 42-lesson course on the brain by Alaric Arenander. We have a whole plan full of ideas for the coming months.

Mother Divine Europe has become active and successful in different countries: Organising Matri Mandal calls exclusively for ladies in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, etc. We consider this very important, since many more women get to know Mother Divine by enjoying their knowledge and being in their presence online. It is really precious. Women of all ages express their appreciation, over and over.

This year the new goals are double the liaisons, develop a new strategy with webinars, and last but not least start building in 2021!!!!
